JKA Bahrain was one of
many teams that participated in the Gichin Funakoshi World Karate Cup 2011 which was held in Pattaya Thailand on 18th through
the 21st of August 2011. The event was sponsored by JKA Head Quarters and hosted by JKA Thailand. The competition
hosted juniors aged 9 through 18 and adults of all ages. 48 JKA countries and over 1000 participants took part at

- Members Party on Friday 24th of June 2011
JKA Bahrain held a party for its members and their families
on Friday to celebrate results of the last Tournament. During the party, Belt Diplomas from JKA Japan were
awarded to memebrs that participated and passed their belt test during April 2011. Additionally, several black
belts students and instructors were awarded completion diploma for the "Judge" course which was held during
May 2011.
Notice 17-06-2011 - JKA Bahrain Tournament Friday 17th
of June 2011
JKA Bahrain Tournament is being held on Friday 17th of June. The tournament is free
of charge for JKA Bahrain members and will include children and adults. The venue of the tournament will include
kata and kumite. This planned event is pre-approved by JKA Tokyo HQ and is in line with JKA World Federation requirements.
During 2010, more than 70 students attended the 2010 JKA Bahrain Tournament.

Notice 01-03-2011 - JKA Gulf
Region Web Site
Thanks to JKA Kuwait and JKA HQ, a new Web site for JKA Gulf Region has been introduced. JKA
has recognized the Gulf region good efforts in promoting JKA Karate - thus allowing the region to report directly to
JKA Head Office at the Honbu Dojo Tokyo. www.jka-gulf.com This also paves the way for new activities which will be initiated by JKA Gulf states such as international tournaments

will be traveling to Japan first week of April to train and attend JKA Spring Camp.

JKA Bahrain Ehab Sensei and members of JKA Bahrain organize
a presentation for St. Christopher Junior School on Monday 8th of March. The presentation was followed with a demonstration

Notice 09-03-2010 - Notice from JKA HQ- RE: Fraudulent instructors
with false Dan Rankings It has come to the attention of JKA HQ that some former JKA instructors who have been separated
from the organization are still publicly claiming to be JKA members in good standing. And further, that they are fabricating
their Dan rankings. For example, Keigo Abe in Japan has been expelled from JKA, and therefore has lost his JKA Dan ranking.
But he is still publicly presenting himself as an instructor with a valid JKA Dan ranking, claiming 8th Dan. In fact, however,
at the time of his expulsion from JKA, Abe Sensei was actually 7th Dan. To confirm that your
instructor is in fact a certified JKA instructor, and does indeed possess the JKA Dan ranking he or she claims, please check
the JKA website. Or directly contact JKA HQ. Please be advised that JKA HQ is prepared to take whatever action
is necessary to stop all this activity on the part of fraudulent instructors and organizations. Notice 01-03-2010

2009 NEWS Notice 15-11-2009 - Amr Moawaad
No Longer Associated with JKA
Please be advised that Amr Moawaad is no longer associated with JKA and JKA Bahrain. He is not allowed to represent
JKA in anyway in Bahrain. He has no authority from JKA Japan nor from JKA Bahrain to conduct JKA belt
exams (Kyu or Dan). If Amr Moawaad attempts to conduct JKA examination - these exams will not be honored by JKA HQ.
Amr Moawaad's Grade A Instructor, Examiner, Judge license are no longer valid from JKA.
