Gichin Funakoshi Cup

World Karate-Do Championship 2011

JKA Bahrain was one of many teams that participated in the Gichin Funakoshi World Karate Cup 2011 which was held in Pattaya Thailand on 18th through the 21st of August 2011.  The event was sponsored by JKA Head Quarters and hosted by JKA Thailand.  The competition hosted juniors aged 9 through 18 and adults of all ages.  48 JKA countries and over 1000 participants took part at this global event.  Last Gichin Funakoshi World Karate Cup was held in Australia during 2006.
