We are happy to announce the JKA Bahrain 2017 Gassuku sponsored by JKA Tokyo and JKA Bahrain. The camp, referred to in Japanese as 'Gasshuku', is geared to provide a taste of the training held in Japan. The word Gasshuku means to gather together - it refers to people of the same dojo staying somewhere together for a time in order to practice harder or more than usual.
From Head Office Japan, Okuma Sensei will be training and lecturing for the two days. Okuma Sensei is a well-known karate master in Japan & internationally. He holds a six Dan degree from Japan, as well as several times champion of Kumite and Kata internationally and nationally.
This event is not just a training session, it is a technical course for adults and juniors to enhance their karate skills and interact with others in the field of karate. Not to mention that while you’re at the camp (Gasshuku), you get to learn from this talented master and try new techniques. That too can offer a shift in your training when you go back to the dojo. The interaction with others from different dojo(s) is another inspiration - training side by side like warriors - the bushido way.
Please note that all students planning to take a belt test in the near future must attend this camp. All students must have proof of camp attendance stamp in their JKA Passport if they wish to participate in the upcoming belt test.
We urge all JKA Bahrain students to register before 20th of March. All students planning to attend, kindly fill-out the attached form and send to email@example.com or call us on +973-3888-6930.
